Pyotr Tsigankov, who was wanted for robbing a bank in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on October 9, has been found Sunday in Georgia.

Ashot Aharonyan, Head of the Armenia Police Media and Public Relations Department, informed on his Facebook page that the procedure for transferring Tsigankov back to Armenia is being discussed with Georgian law enforcement.

On October 9, an identified person threatened the manager of a Yerevan branch of bank with a respective letter, stole money equivalent to about $200 thousand, and fled. 

The bank robbery case was solved. Yerevan residents Davit Grigoryan (born in 1988), Arsen Grigoryan (born in 1987), Marat Galstyan (born in 1983), and Ashot Manukyan (born in 1979) were arrested in connection with this robbery.

And Ashtarak town resident Pyotr Tsigankov (born in 1988) was wanted on suspicion of committing this bank robbery.
