Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1. Issa Rae
Did you miss the Emmy awards? If you did, it is only right that we inform you that Sean Spicer, Trump’s former mouthpiece did something unforgettable, and Twitter refused to stand for it.
But there’s good news.
For the first time in history, an African American woman carted away the Emmy for Best writing in a comedy. That honour goes to Lena Waithe and Issa Rae and Ava Duvernay can’t shut up about it.

2. Ava DuVernay
For anyone w/ a dream, know how hard the great @LenaWaithe worked for hers. Congrats on your win, Lena. History has its eyes on you! #Emmys pic.twitter.com/dt6WC3waMr

3. Gabrielle Union
Our one and only Mary Jane raved about her presentation assignment at the Emmys. When it takes these many number of years before a task like this comes along, you know she’s got to make some noise.
I've been doing TV since 1995. This will be my 1st time going to the Emmys & I'm presenting an award! 22 yrs later. #OvernightSuccess ?

After all the IPOB drama over the weekend, finally our prayers were answered: Somebody in Buhari’s government has sense.

6. Manasseh Egedegbe
So daddy Bubu- bless his heart- has proceeded on that particular duty that he loves so much. You know the one, na- ajala travels.
He’s already at the United Nations speaking about peace. Everyone’s curious about what he has to say, seeing as he’s more informed about war and practically left a state on fire.
Oh, and he’s gonna say hi to the Queen again. This time around, Charly Boy and Deji Adeyanju better beware.
Why do I have this feeling that no one will do any kind of resume or resign anything, even if Baba decides to chill in London till 2019? ?

7. Nicholas Ibekwe
Nicholas has a little advice for the media. This ought to apply to Twitter warlords too. Jes saying.
Dear Nigerian media, when the military, police shoot/kill/beat up a group of defenceless civilians it is not a CLASH. It is an ATTACK.

Such predatory behaviour. I was all ready to part with my coins because his photography was on point, only for him to be a creep.
