Tre Mitchell hits the game winner to advance to the West Virginia regional championship
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) - For the third time ever, No. 2 seed Herd That squared off with its Mountain State rival No. 3 seed Best Virginia in the Round of 32 of the TBT Sunday. Winner moves on to the West Virginia regional championship Tuesday; loser’s season ends.

After a tight first few minutes, Best Virginia started to build momentum towards the end of the first quarter. The momentum would carry over into the second quarter, where Best Virginia would lead 44-31 at halftime.
Into the second half, Best Virginia would keep a double-digit lead into the Elam Ending, leading 73-58. Herd That would start to mount a comeback and outscore Best Virginia 17-8 in the final period, but Tre Mitchell put all doubt to rest nailing a mid-range game winner to win 82-75.
