Video: Cooler temps Wednesday with some on and off showers the next few days
After *** string of hot days, the heat fades for the time being, but that humidity remains in place. So while temperatures will cool into the 70s, *** few lower 80s in western New Hampshire, we will have enough humidity in place for an approaching front back to the west that we will have some shower activity and *** couple of. Thunder showers. The main issue is while the aerial coverage of the showers and storms will be fairly limited, maybe 30% chance of seeing one at any given time. It does look like with the higher humidity in place that anything we do see could have *** couple of heavier downpours with it. The rainfall chances really shut off later Thursday night. We go drier on Friday with temps back to either side of 80 and *** warming trend with 80s with partial sunshine expected for the weekend. And while the temperatures will be making *** lot of the headlines along with the chance of showers and storms, that July humidity is not going anywhere anytime soon. As *** matter of fact, it starts to ramp up again going into the beginning of next week. So we have one. Front moving offshore this morning, you will notice kind of back toward the Great Lakes another front that will arrive tomorrow afternoon. So ahead of that warmth, humidity, 70s out there dew points in the 60s to near 70 that at just about any point with clouds and *** couple of sunny breaks we could have *** passing shower or *** heavier downpour and *** few rumbles of thunder *** possibility. But again, aerial coverage in any one given location. is not going to be all that great through tonight and into tomorrow, but you'll have to be aware of that possibility of *** heavier downpour through about tomorrow afternoon or early tomorrow evening. It is after that that that system starts to pull away Thursday evening and sets up drier skies starting Friday morning, and I think that starts the beginnings of *** partly sunny stretch of weather that will start Friday afternoon and likely. Go through the weekend, probably our next chance of rain would not arrive until very late on Sunday or into Monday with the next front back out to our west starting to approach and some shower and storm chances expected with that. So 7 days the next few days with on and off showers, clouds, and occasional thunder shower possibilities back to partial sunshine Friday, warming trend for the weekend with *** few storms early next week.
