JONESTOWN, Miss. - An 18-wheeler crashed on a Mississippi highway Friday morning, according to the Coahoma County Fire Department (CCFD).
CCFD said the crash happened just before noon on Highway 316 near Jonestown.
Photos shared by the fire department show an 18-wheeler resting on its side on the side of the highway.
CCFD said paramedics found one injured person standing outside of the truck when they arrived at the scene. Witnesses said they helped the driver escape the wrecked tractor trailer.
That driver suffered non-critical injuries, and first responders took them to a nearby hospital.
