Newman-Hall pledged to running backs coach Carlos Locklyn after camping at Ohio State earlier in the week. He attends Blake High School in Tampa, Florida.
Ohio State does not have a running back committed in the 2027 class, and with Newman-Hall already on the board in 2028, the future looks bright.
He’s unranked by the 247Sports composite because he’s still only played one year of high school football in his career. But Locklyn has shown the fearlessness to not be timid on the recruiting trail, and now, Ohio State has a 2028 recruit committed.
