Northern Ireland riots motivated by racism, police say

The unrest in County Antrim has spread from Ballymena to other towns.

In Larne last night a leisure centre where families were sheltering  following the riots earlier this week was set on fire.

Northern Ireland’s Chief Police Constable says the disorder is motivated by bigotry and racism.

He’s called in 80 specialist public order officers from Scotland to support his own force.
