There will be a gathering of liberals around the country on Saturday, including here in Homer, Alaska. Democrats will gather at Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith & Love Park as part of a larger “No Kings” movement that is aligned with similar protests in 16 other Alaska communities and over 1,500 towns across the country. My liberal friends believe they are protesting in support of democracy, but they are being used as pawns in a game of power politics by leftist NGO political organizations.

Saturday’s protests are a continuation of the events that have been unfolding in Los Angeles over the past week. Democrats are telling us these are grassroots gatherings opposed to tyranny and fascism. The truth about the LA riots and the No Kings protests is actually something quite different. It turns out that, contrary to the Democrat narrative, these are not spontaneous protests. These rallies are organized and paid for by leftist NGOs using tax dollars, along with other leftist political groups.

A conservative data analyst who posts her findings online was able to dig deep into the funding behind the LA riots and make some surprising discoveries. Posting on X as Data Republican, she has determined that two NGOs are instrumental in funding the LA riots. You can read her research here.

In the past, Democrats found it easy to dupe the public, but things are different now.

Further demonstrating how outside groups are agitating the violence, this morning the FBI arrested one individual, Alejandro Orellana, an alleged member of the Brown Berets, a radical Chicano nationalist paramilitary organization with ties to far-left revolutionary groups. Mr. Orellana was accused of Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders (18 USC 371) for his actions in distributing Bionic facemasks to help protesters counter police control measures.

Yes, outside organizations, including NGOs, are using your money to advocate for a leftist political goal. This is very similar to an effort made by an NGO in Anchorage called The 907 Initiative, encouraging residents to lobby Representative Sarah Vance to vote for HB57, legislation favored by Democrats. These NGOs operate covertly in the shadows to gaslight the public into supporting their political objectives. Both the LA riots and the gathering at Homer’s WKFL park on Sunday are two sides of the same coin.

Like the NGO attack on Sarah Vance, the groups paying to support the riots in LA take advantage of favorable loopholes in tax law and portray themselves as neutral organizations, while in actuality, they have a political objective and try to use the money they receive to influence politics in favor of leftist positions.

In the past, Democrats found it easy to dupe the public, but things are different now. The Covid-19 scam acted as a wake-up call for many people, especially conservatives. We realized that much of what we were told during the pandemic was incorrect or biased. The government’s actions were not always in the best interests of public health, and a blatant political objective often underlay much of what was imposed upon us, including the theft of the 2020 presidential election. The public’s trust was eroded by the government’s adherence to multiple blatant falsehoods that were presented to the public.

Now the leftists have managed to convince their supporters that a president who wants to enforce the law is somehow a threat to democracy. The local Democrats in Homer have fallen for the trick once again and have scheduled another one of their public protests on Saturday at the WKLF Park. I covered a similar protest earlier this summer and was one of a few voices gathered to oppose them. However, this Saturday is different. A counter protest in support of conservative values has been organized. A flag day vehicle parade is scheduled from Homer to Anchor Point on Saturday, June 14.

If you would like to support the president, support the flag, and demonstrate your opposition to the liberal policies that are harming this country, I encourage readers on the lower Kenai Peninsula to decorate their cars with American flags and any remaining Trump campaign posters they may have, and join the parade. The parade will begin at Paul Banks Elementary School in Homer at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. You should arrive at 2:30 p.m. to secure a place in line. Here is a real opportunity for conservatives to show their support for President Trump and their opposition to the ideas promoted by the useful idiots on the left.

In my humble opinion, I think the best way to “confront” these idiots is to ignore them. Much like the ridiculous old “March for Science,” they achieve nothing when people just let them alone. Treat them like the raging toddlers they are and they will, at some point, go away.

It is more than Walmart. If you dig underneath there is a tangled web of all sorts of communist funding. Deeper still, we the tax payers are even funding them. It is sickening.

      • Manny Mullen says:

Henry. How about ONE example of communist funding? Just ONE out of “all sorts”.

  • Proud Alaskan says:

There a bunch of deranged people. If you ask them what they’re protesting about, they have no clue, they’re just Sheep.

  • Sean Arnold says:

Well written article. We are having a Flag Day parade here in Haines, Ak. too!

  • Manny Mullen says:

No Kings energized the core of democracy: people. Trump’s DOGE resistant vanity parade bored the hell out of people.

    • Quart Jester says:

Here is Manny again, just doing nothing but crying. That is all you do is cry and complain about others who have actual power over their own lives.

Manny has no self determination, but is only a puppet of the “current thing” narrative.

Be a King in your life, not a useless fool puppet.

      • Manny Mullen says:

Quart. All I said was that over FIVE MILLION peaceful protesters across the country joined together to send a message to you, Republicans and the Trump administration. DO BETTER. It’s not negative to ask for less cruelty, more fairness more competence and a return to honoring the law. That’s not crying or complaining. That’s taking action energized with patriotic love of our country.

  • Herman Nelson says:

Those following the “no kings” cult are following the same road as those misguided people of the Russian revolution from 1917. It’s ironic the “no kings” protests are paid for by several very rich people who would very much like to be in charge.

  • Thomas Lovings says:

We need to stop using the lefts narrative! these are not NGOs. These are filled with the Marxist foot soldiers. They are Marxist Militias! They are attacking us and our institutions, They mean to start a full scale revolution! You pretending anything else is a foolish folly!

  • Manny Mullen says:

“Marxist Militias!” is that something like the Three Percenters or Oath Keepers or Proud Boys? And Thomas, though your term “institutions” is not defined, consider that the Fertility President has defunded the weather service, all health NGOs and providers, Universities and science research, Meals on Wheels, arts, and land management. That’s only a partial list.
