The annual Trousdale County High School and Ward School All-class Reunion was held Saturday morning at TCHS with over 50 alumni in attendance. The decades of the 1960s and 1970s were well represented as just less than 20 classmates from each decade attended the event.
Betty Briley was the “Most Experienced Alumnus” as she graduated in 1951 and was accompanied by her daughter, Joy, from the Class of 1973.
Kevin Lankford, Class of 1981, was again the alumnus that traveled the farthest distance as he and his wife came in from Fairbanks, Alaska.
The first all-class reunion was held on June 4, 2005 at the Satterfield Middle School (the old high school) under the direction of Marvin Bastain with over 100 alumni in attendance.
Among the attendees at that first reunion were Marie LeCornu, Class of 1931; Grady Williams, Class of 1932; Neale Armstrong, Class of 1936 and Wilna Duncan, Class of 1936.
The reunion is always set on the first Saturday in June so in 2026 the event will be on June 6.
