Member of Jamnagar royal family dies in United Kingdom, prayer meeting held

Princess Mukunda Kumari was the sister of the Jam Saheb of Nawanagar, now known as Jamnagar, Shatrusalyasinhji

Princess Mukunda Kumari, a member of the royal family of Jamnagar, passed away in the United Kingdom last week. She was also the former “Maharani Sahiba” of Pratapgadh.

Kumari was the sister of the Jam Saheb of Nawanagar, now known as Jamnagar, Shatrusalyasinhji.

On Thursday, a prayer meeting was held in Jamnagar by the royal family in Kumari’s memory.

Earlier, in an obituary for his sister, the Jam Saheb had stated, “She was a very brave and a talented person with many extraordinary aspects to her personality of whom I was very proud, for whom I pray to our Kuldevi Mataji to grant her spirit eternal peace.”
