Sierra Leonean rapper and founder of Black Leo Entertainment, Kao Denero, has thrown his support behind Miss World Sierra Leoneans, Lachaeveh Alberta Caizarine Davies, who is representing the country at the Miss World 2025 pageant in India and called on Sierra Leoneans to follow suit.

He said it is important for Sierra Leone to intentionally promote itself beyond its borders. Kao felt it was important to share news about their fellow Sierra Leonean competing for the Miss World title. He urged everyone to help raise awareness about her participation and to follow the instructions on the flyer he shared to support her.

Kao asked people to download the Miss World app, sign up, join the Sierra Leone community, and engage by liking, commenting, and sharing her photos and videos.

Lachaeveh is currently competing in Hyderabad, India. The Miss World 2025 final will take place on 31st May. She has made history by becoming the first Sierra Leonean to reach the Top 8 finalists in the Beauty With a Purpose project, She earned her place as one of the Top 8 finalists in the Beauty With a Purpose project with her ‘Dynamo Project.’ This project supports farmers by encouraging sustainable farming methods.

Although she did not move forward in the Head-to-Head Challenge round, which focuses on public speaking and advocacy, Lachaeveh continues to proudly represent Sierra Leone throughout the competition.

Lachaeveh is also a climate change advocate, writer, and model. Before winning the national crown, she held titles such as Miss University of Makeni and Miss Freetown 2024.

Kao’s message asks Sierra Leoneans to come together and support their representative as she takes part in this global event.
