OSCE ready to assist in ending Ukraine conflict — secretary general

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is prepared to support efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine and to provide necessary assistance, OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu said following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

"I believe we now have an opportunity to bring an end to the ongoing war in Ukraine. We must seize this chance and stop the conflict," said Sinirlioglu. "The OSCE is prepared to support efforts to end the war in Ukraine and beyond, in any way that can benefit all parties. As OSCE Secretary General, I stand ready to provide the necessary assistance," he added.

Sinirlioglu noted that "the OSCE is a crucial platform for dialogue among all participating states, especially those seeking to reach common ground." "It is a place where all concerned parties can discuss the future security architecture," the organization's secretary general pointed out.
