Anthony Gordon has finally left Everton, completing a four-year deal with Newcastle United.

The England winger had abandoned Everton’s training for a couple of days in an attempt to force his way out of the club.

According to talkSPORT, the 21-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at St James’ Park as he closes in on the move.

The Magpies agreed to a £40 million plus £5 million in add-ons fee with Everton on Friday, and the forward has completed a medical and should be announced imminently.
