Bulgaria, Macedonia should sign strategic partnership treaty, Gjorge Ivanov suggests

Bulgaria and Macedonia should sign a treaty on strategic partnership, the President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov has suggested emerging from talks in Skopje with his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev.

Gjorge Ivanov has also said that Macedonia wants to make its relations with Bulgaria a good example for the rest of the Balkan countries to follow.

In turn Rumen Radev has termed the proposal a very important initiative. He has made a commitment to refer the demand of Gjorge Ivanov to the Bulgarian government.
