Bishkek, October 16 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan appealed to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) about the need to comply with the requirements of Kazakhstan for the law of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

"In connection with the current situation at the checkpoints across the state border of Kazakhstan and the problems experienced by domestic freight carriers and entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic notes that the Kazakh side does not observe the rules of the law of the Eurasian Economic Union," the report said.

As noted in the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyzstan, additional control introduced by Kazakhstan in all checkpoints contradicts the main principles and objectives of the EAEU Treaty and jeopardizes the achievement of the goals of the Eurasian economic integration. Thus, Kazakhstan restricts the freedom of movement of goods, thereby violating one of the fundamental principles of the functioning of the unified market of the EAEU.

In this connection, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic sent a letter to the chairman of the College of the UNECE Sarkisyan TS. on the need to notify the Republic of Kazakhstan of compliance with the provisions of the EEC Agreement of May 29, 2014 and consider this issue at the next meeting of the EEC Collegium.
