Greek President to visit Uruguay and Chile

The Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou will undertake an official visit to Uruguay from April 21st to 23rd and to Chile from April 24th to 26th, following invitations from their Presidents, Luis Lacalle Pou and Gabriel Boric, respectively.

The visit to Chile coincides with two important milestones, one for each country. Last year marked 50 years since Augusto Pinochet's coup and the overthrow of Salvador Allende, while this year marks 50 years since the restoration of Democracy in Greece.

As part of her visit, the Greek President will visit, among others, the "Tsakos Foundation" in Montevideo, as well as the Museum of Human Rights and the Gabriel and Mary Moustakis Foundation in Santiago, while she will give a speech at the Historical University of Chile.
